The creators of Futurama have announced a mobile game based on the popular animated series. The development of the game Futurama: Release the Drones charged the German Studio Wooga.
“Prepare to meet shiny robots, evil forces and new adventures,” reads the post. On the poster attached to the message, there is a slogan “Release The Drones”. The protagonist of the title will be the Android Bender, one of the Central characters of the series.
“The player will travel with the team “planet Express”, fighting along the way with competitors from the Corporation MomCo. Players will plunge into the universe of Futurama, with delivery of dangerous goods with the help of a group of drones and while solving fiendish puzzles,” he told the creators project.
Futurama is owned by Fox. Previous projects on its franchises have become The Simpsons: Tapped Out from EA and Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff from the Studio TinyCo. Both projects were shareware. Assume that a title for Futurama will be distributed by the same model.
The creators promise that the game “will appear in the near future.” The exact release date of the project is not named. The link in the post leads to the site of future games, where you can subscribe to news about the project.
