French prosecutors investigating the slowdown in iPhone

In France, investigating about slowing iPhone with a significant battery wear will the Prosecutor’s office and special Department of the Ministry of economy. It is reported by news Agency Reuters.

Under French law, Apple could face a penalty of up to 5% of annual sales. This amount required to pay all producers, if the court proved that they deliberately understated the service life of their products. Artificial stimulation of the replacement of old gadgets and undue heating demand to new models for French standards, is not acceptable.

A joint investigation prosecutors and the special Department of the Ministry of economy will last several months. By results of check the matter may be fully terminated and sent to court for a more detailed investigation.

The press service of the French and American divisions at Apple refused to comment the situation, saying that the Corporation has already apologized. The company stressed that never did anything to intentionally shorten the life of any of their devices.

At the end of December 2017 in France was filed by one of the most serious claims against Apple. If a Corporation is found guilty of deliberately slowing down technology, it managers could face imprisonment.
