“Frameless” ultrabook Dell XPS 15 will compete with the new MacBook Pro

In early January, Dell announced an updated model of the 13.3-inch XPS 13 laptop, which now boasts ultra-thin frame around the display and razor-sharp screen with a resolution of 3200×1800 pixels. At the Computex 2015 the manufacturer has brought the modification of the XPS 15 – 15-inch version of the laptop with a similar design.

Following the announcement of a new 15-inch MacBook Pro, Dell introduced XPS 15 ultrabook. It is positioned as the most compact portable computer in its class, thanks to the very fine for this segment of the framework around the display. 15-inch MacBook Pro is available in three configurations: Quad-core Intel Core i7 2.2 GHz (Turbo Boost up to 3.4 GHz), 16 GB of RAM, flash drive 256 GB graphics and Intel Iris Pro; Quad-core Intel Core i7 2.5 GHz (Turbo Boost to 3.7 GHz), 16 GB RAM, USB flash drive 512 GB graphics AMD Radeon R9 M370X and with Quad-core Intel Core i7 processors up to 2.8 GHz (Turbo Boost up to 4.0 GHz) and flash storage up to 1 TB.

Earlier, Dell said that the compact model XPS 13 for all parameters is a worthy rival 12-inch MacBook. There are differences from Apple, in which there are mobile series processors “M”, namely, different versions of the XPS 13 is equipped with a full 2-core Intel Core i5 5200U, Core i5 and Core i5 5500U 5600U. It is also noted that touch the 13-inch Dell laptop screen has a resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels, it is therefore considered the best when compared with the MacBook screen with a resolution of 2304 x 1440. This applies to the camera with a resolution of 720p, which is used in the Dell laptop, it is better than camera MacBook, which resolution is only 480p.

The main drawback of the XPS 13, which it is inferior to the MacBook is the weight of the machine, which is located at around vs. 1.18 kg 0,92 kg at Apple.

  1. -hdbx3s no it does not come with earbuds with vomule control. The old iPod touch came with them though cause the vomule control earbud also came with a microphone which the old one did not have. So since the new iPod touch has a microphone and better speaker apple just figured it would cost more to put vomule control earbuds with the new iPod touch.
