Found the problem with freezes Safari when opening links in iOS 9.3

At first glance, the method seems quite complicated, but it is useful to those who do not want to wait for the update of the operating system. According to available information, the method appeared thanks to the app Booking.com where a bug with the download links was “cured” by the developers without the participation of Apple.

  • If your device is installed Booking.com, uninstall it.
  • Turn On Airplane Mode.
  • Connect your device to computer and start iTunes (keep it plugged in to charge).
  • Make sure your PC has the app Booking.com. You can download it here.
  • Continue to work in Airplane mode.
  • Select your device in iTunes, click the Apps tab, find Booking.com and install it on your iPhone or iPad.
  • Click the Synchronize button.
  • Wait for synchronization and then run the application Booking.com on the device.
  • Force close Booking.com menu multitasking by double pressing the Home key.
  • Repeat the previous step with Safari. Make sure that the browser did not go to work in the background.
  • Turn Off Airplane Mode.
  • Launch Safari and test the program. Under the same scheme, you can recover iMessage or Email. If the problem persists, repeat the procedure from the first step several times.
