The Federal tax service (FNS) received the right to demand the blocking of VPN services and anonymizers, reports “Izvestia” This follows from the joint order of Roskomnadzor, the Ministry of internal Affairs, FTS and CPS. The order came into force on 27 June.
Document konkretisiert criteria by which the agencies assess information from websites for inclusion in the register is prohibited, which leads Roscomnadzor. Now the state Duma is considering a bill to ban visiting Russia blocked sites using VPN services, proxy-servers and anonymizers. The document proposes to require websites and services, allowing you to circumvent the blocking in the Internet, cooperate with Roskomnadzor and to restrict access to the addresses from the register of banned sites.
A bill to ban anonymizers passed its first reading on 23 June. According to media reports, at a closed meeting with the deputies of the head of the FSB Alexander Bortnikov asked to accelerate the adoption of the document.
