On five squares in the center of Moscow can receive points for charging mobile devices. The device should be located on the Crimean, Smolensk-hay, Large Sukharevskaya, Lermontov and Serpukhov areas. In addition, there will make the city Wi-Fi and equipped places for street musicians. This is stated in the documents of the Department overhaul of the landscaping of the Garden ring in 2016.
When landscaping areas of the Garden ring is planned to establish “the elements ensure a comfortable waiting area,” according to M24. Thus five squares must make a “distribution points of the city Wi-Fi, charging point for electronic devices, and street clocks,” reads the documentation.
Head of the laboratory of social media Vlad Titov said that charging for phones and Wi-Fi will be useful primarily for guests of the capital. “Charging and free Wi-Fi in the first place will be in demand among travelers who may not always find a place to charge the phone, – said the expert. – Immediately on the go you can charge your phone at the same time to look at some videos via Wi-Fi, and somewhere and listen to street musicians.”
