On Monday Apple introduced the iPhone SE – my first little smartphone with 2013. Today, the network appeared the first video unpacking the device, claiming the title of bestseller.
Externally iPhone SE is virtually a copy of the iPhone 5s, only with the features of the iPhone 6s. Differences from the older models not so much. More specifically, the smartphone has a screen size of 4 inches and a resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels and Apple’s A9 processor with M9 co-processor. Camera — 12 megapixels with support for recording 4K-video and Live Photo. Differences from 6s in the size of the screen and 3D Touch. The front camera has a resolution of 1.2 megapixels.
An interesting point was the price of a new “budget” iPhone is $399 for 16 GB of storage, that is about 30 000. However, the official price in Russia amounted to 38 000 rubles, and the version with 64 GB will cost altogether 48 000. If you convert these prices back to €400, it turns out that by the standards of Apple €1 costs 95 rubles.
Shestnadcatiletnie version in the States only costs $400 — $750 for the iPhone 6s. In fact iPhone SE is what at the time was supposed to be a plastic iPhone 5C, but did not — was still too expensive. It is the price, that probably will make SE a bestseller, and does not “ease of use with one hand” or “good old design”.
