Elgato has opened pre-order on a range of devices to “smart home” Apple

In may, Apple announced the upcoming availability of the first accessories that are compatible with the platform HomeKit home automation. As announced, a number of devices based on HomeKit, which will include including thermostats and “smart ” actuators for opening the doors of the garages will be available in June. Today, Elgato has opened pre-orders on a set of sensors of the series Eve, which give the user the ability to control appliances using your iPhone and iPad.

In the “smart home” Elgato provides a range of sensors, which measure the air quality, temperature, humidity level, to take into account the consumption of energy and water, to control lighting and electricity in the house. In the list there are also sensors analyzers smoke and air pollution sensors for doors and Windows. They all have Bluetooth and is compatible with Apple HomeKit.

On the Elgato website for pre-order up to four devices:

  • Eve room – measuring temperature, humidity and air quality in the house.
  • Eve weather – temperature, humidity and pressure on the street.
  • Eve door & window sensors open doors and Windows.
  • Eve energy – smart electrical outlets with the ability to measure energy consumption.

HomeKit uses a common language that allows smart devices to exchange information safely and sync them with the iPhone and iPad. Provides the ability to write “scripts” for each day, including specific actions, such as turning off lights, control the temperature in the house, speaker systems, etc.

Using a set of sensors Elgato user can monitor your home with iPhone and iPad, and to control appliances through voice assistant Siri.
