Dock OWC Thunderbolt 3 will add ports to the new 13 MacBook Pro

OWC, known in the market as manufacturer of quality and affordable accessories for Apple computers, has expanded its activities. In order to correspond to the modern “iron” trends and anticipating the demand on the IT market, the company decided to launch a new range of devices to extend the capabilities of the increasingly popular USB interface.

In the new MacBook Pro used, not counting the audio Jack, only the USB connectors., Apple believes the standard interface of the near future. The company offers its customers a new “proshek” to buy the adapter USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter. There are three ports: HDMI, USB 3.1 and one USB C. OWC has released a more interesting device, which although is more expensive and is much more functional.

A device called Thunderbolt 3 Dock housing is made of anodized aluminum and fits perfectly into the Apple ecosystem. When using a MacBook Pro on the road, users no longer have to worry about the fact that heavy adapters take up much space. Unlike the original adapter from the online Apple store, the novelty is equipped with a wide range of connectors.

OWC has already opened pre-orders for the Thunderbolt Dock 3 on your website. The device will go on sale in February 2017. The cost of the docking station, the supplied Thunderbolt cable 3 40Gb/s USB-C length 0.5 m, is $279.
