Ho Gangling from Guangzhou bought a 128-Gigabyte version of the iPhone 6s 6 858 yuan (about $1075) in one of the offices of the mobile operator China Mobile. As told by the user, a purchase he made after he saw an advertisement from Apple, which read: The only thing that’s changed is everything (“the Only thing that changed — all” or “the Only news – everything is new”).
After the lawyer took advantage of a new gadget, he said, he found that indeed “nothing has changed”. In his opinion, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s “nearly identical” in appearance and do not differ in functionality from its predecessors.
In addition, according to the lawyer, the words “the only (only)” and “all” (everything) that were used in advertising, violate the provisions of the new Chinese law on advertising, which prohibits the use of superlative such as “best”, “perfect” and others.
Unhappy iPhone 6s the user has requested compensation in the amount of 20 000 yuan, an amount equal to three times the cost of the phone, said RIA. It is reported that the court of Guangzhou city accepted the case for review.
