Few people know, but on mobile long been a perfect series Dictator – a sort of pocket version of Tropico, where also invited to try on the mask of an imperious dictator of a small country. The series is growing and growing and now, at last, came complete the second part – the Dictator 2: Evolution.
Everything’s the same: you sit in a chair a great ruler, but your bow to go the delegates of different factions – there are the workers, police, human rights activists, oligarchs and other interested companions. The main game element is to hold all the layers in fear and obedience: if somebody take up their pitchforks, the game is over. To avoid this, it is necessary to distribute to all sisters on earrings: to please one, to flatter others, and whip others. Leverage on the population of only two – money and the bars. Sending the opposition in the state house, you can gain a few turns of respite, but the dissidents will still be released, and the problem again will Shine all the icky colors. So the easiest way is to buy off the dissenters. But it does earn a lot of money to build in the region of oil rigs and banks; requires significant initial investments.
In the first part of this whole game, in fact, ended, but now it is possible not only to mock the subjects of their country, but of foreign countries – because the field can capture. The battles are in the spirit of Hearthstone and other card games: you throw one into another rectangles, symbolizing those or other forces. As is customary in the genre, units don’t just know how to hit and take a hit, but also often possess some additional skill: for example, to treat comrades or stay in stealth mode.
What is important, not the army you hire for money, and recruited from national stockpile – those of factions, the whip, the carrot. And the loyal group, the more soldiers it will deliver; it is optimal to keep everyone on a short leash, but it is difficult. It is best to bet on a couple units (for example, thugs – you’re a dictator, after all), and the others just to prevent revolution.
Captured regions can be managed in different ways, but don’t think that it will be possible to avoid headaches. The local population (all of the same faction) to the occupier do not cherish tender feelings, and therefore hostile – coaxing can fly in amount much greater than will work with the region to fuck. That something happens, you can put to rule their own Governor, as well as to cover the entire territory of the horns, driving the propaganda. And still, not the fact that the red laughter will pass you by. Thin, in General, this business – world totalitarianism.
More in “the Dictator” to do nothing, and held the throne for about a hundred moves (after losing the first dozen times, of course), you will hit the ceiling – all studied, all the levers used, the strings frayed. Continue to chase the expansion of dominion is not so interesting. But those few hours that you spend in Dictator 2: Evolution will be cool.
