Device for $40 will turn any headphones into wireless [video]

Company Podo Labs has announced the adapter Jack, which can connect any wired headphone to the smartphone via Bluetooth. New product is designed to solve the inconvenience associated with the lack of the iPhone 7 and other smartphones a standard 3.5 mm connector for headphones.

Jack works as follows: first you need to connect the earphones connector to the accessory, and then install the pair with a smartphone via Bluetooth. According to the developers, the novelty supports aptX technology that ensures audio “CD-quality”.

Jack can be used not only with the iPhone 7. For example, the gadget will come in handy as Bluetooth adapter for sound system music playback “over the air” connection to multimedia system of the car and audioport TV. Also Jack allows you to connect to two devices (e.g. smartphone and tablet) and switch between them.

The battery Jack is 12 hours. The battery of the accessory is charged via microUSB.

The project is Podo Labs has collected on Kickstarter more than 650 000 USD required to begin production of $20 000. The novelty has supported nearly 14,000 people.

Pre-order the novelty can all attend at a price of $30. Delivery device the first customers will begin in June.
