The American magazine Consumer Reports removed from the list of recommended gadgets the Microsoft Surface because of problems with reliability. Previously, the publication recommended that buyers Surface Book (128 GB, and 512 GB) and Surface Pro Laptop (128 GB and 256 GB).
According to the newspaper, more than 25% of owners face problems in the gadgets Microsoft Surface after years of use. The probability of breakage of the tablets Microsoft is much higher than that of similar gadgets from other manufacturers.
In the study, Consumer Reports used data from more than 90 thousand users who have bought tablets and laptops Microsoft Surface between 2014 to early 2017.
“Some users have reported that they had experienced problems in the Surface from date of purchase. The tablet hung and off without warning. Other owners of Microsoft Surface note that the screen eventually becomes unresponsive to clicks”, — stated in the notice of Consumer Reports.
It is noteworthy that Microsoft almost immediately after the publication in Consumer Reports, has denied all charges, noting that it “does not believe the research publication”.
“We do not believe that these Consumer Reports reflect the real user experience with Surface. Since the performance and reliability of devices increases with each generation,” said Microsoft.
Despite the loud statement from Microsoft, users report that the Surface Pro 3 continues to be problems with Wi-Fi and accumulatory that the company though is trying to fix at the software level, still are unable to completely solve.
