One of the leading manufacturers of construction machinery Caterpillar introduced the world’s first smartphone equipped with a thermal imaging camera. If the iPhone to get that functionality you have to purchase a special case, Cat S60 is equipped with a thermal imager out of the box.
The basis for Cat S60 are Snapdragon processor 617 and operating system Android 6.0 Marshmallow. According to the manufacturer, the phone with an integrated camera can be used, for example, in search and rescue operations when people are difficult to detect due to the abundance of foliage or strong smoke, and in the works related to electrical and heat networks (to identify hot spots in engines, electronics, etc.).
