Can the Galaxy S8 with this design to compete with the iPhone 8?

Apple and Samsung for many years are the main competitors in the mobile market. And if in the past few years, the rivalry between the companies was partly spent in the courtroom, in recent years, manufacturers have completely switched to fight within technology. And this had a positive impact on the flagship phones of the companies.

First, Apple introduced the iPhone 6, admitting a mistake to refuse to release a large smartphone. Then Samsung brought to market a line of Galaxy S6, abandoning the cheap plastic in favor of new materials. The iPhone 7, Apple made the next move, offering an unmatched level of performance and dual camera. Thanks to “seven” Apple managed to significantly boost sales and regain lost market position. Will the new Galaxy S8 to lose the throne of the market leader?

With the release of the flagship this year Samsung intends to keep the recognizable design of its smartphones, giving the device a larger display, while refusing not only from the Home keys, but (unheard of!) from the logo on the front panel. As a result, the Galaxy S8 was only a small frame at the top and bottom for the earpiece and sensors. Hardly anyone would think to call this a revolutionary decision, but this move will definitely improve the aesthetics of the smartphone and made nervous Jonathan Ive, casts a spell over the iPhone 8.

From hardware chips Galaxy S8 will offer advanced voice assistant with artificial intelligence, the scanner iris of the eye, the function of the user identification by face. In recent years, Samsung has managed to significantly raise the functionality of their devices, giving them a decent design and materials.

The remaining months before the release of “eight”, the iPhone 7 will have to compete with the Galaxy S8 and S8+. It will be even harder to do it the new iPhone if it receives only a minor improvement (which is unlikely) compared to the iPhone 7. In recent years, Samsung has been able to raise the bar in the design of its flagship solutions, and although it did not become unattainable, this company made a serious breakthrough.
