More and more cars are equipped with Apple CarPlay. Some manufacturers decided to earn some money. For example, BMW will offer its customers the to pay for CarPlay by subscription.
The exhibition Detroit Auto Show, BMW Manager don Smith reported that the first year after buying the car drivers will be able to use CarPlay free. After a year, users will have to pay $ 80 a year to connect your iPhone to the onboard computer machine.
In sum, the first three years will cost car owners $ 160. Four years at $ 240.

The company has not yet implemented a car system from Google and has no plans to do so in the near future.
Earlier at the Detroit Auto Show presented new models of cars equipped with CarPlay. Among them such major companies as KIA, Hyundai and Toyota.
