“Black Friday” begins on Thursday: 300 shops in Russia, has announced a major sale

Thus, discounts on electronics and TVs will reach 15% on large kitchen appliances — up to 40%. In particular, Huawei is planning to sell smartphones at a discount of up to 3000 rubles, and accessories — 50% cheaper than usual. And Media Markt are talking about 100% — but not about the discount, and returning funds in the bonus account when buying Apple gadgets. Major players like Eldorado, M. Video, Svyaznoy and others are giving real discounts.

“Joined foreign players, in particular, Chinese retailers to this action. The number of participants will be up to 300 leading retailers, unlike the previous year, which was attended by about 210 online stores. This year we have been closely following the formation of discounts and in test mode launched an additional service in which the user can check a specific product at what prices exist in a public source,” said CEO and co-founder Vladimir Kim.

Some manage to implement the proposal at discounted rates due to the so-called flash sales, in which limited quantities of goods placed with a big discount. In particular, Huawei can seriously reduce the price of the smartphone by reducing the cost of transportation and storage, reduce time and credits to minimize the risk of currency fluctuations. This requires that each new batch was sold quickly. But in “the Messenger”, for example, flash sales are unlikely to start. The retailer believes that the downsides of such shares is greater than the benefits. The website “Connected” can get a jump in traffic, but when people see that a product is over, you can leave the resource and go back in the future.

Meanwhile, consumers are wary of repeating the experience of previous years, when mass sail discredited the retailers themselves.
