Best Buy has unveiled the specifications the 27-inch iMac the new generation

A year ago Apple introduced an updated 27-inch iMac with Retina 5K display. Monoblocks got Intel Core processors 6th generation, two ports Thunderbolt 2 and new storage options. A year later, the company has prepared plans to upgrade the iMac Retina 5K.

 

The source of this information is the retail chain Best Buy. On the website page with the description of a new iMac with specifying the technical parameters of new products. The card was quickly removed from the resource, but users managed to make screenshots.

Based on available data, the new iMacs will get Intel Kaby Lake, up to Core i7. Given the parameters of the first two generations, the focus should be on high-performance Quad-core models. That is, those that have not yet been presented.

The amount of RAM in one of the configurations will be 32 GB, and as storage is used, the Fusion Drive capacity of 2 TB. Regardless of the configuration, the updated iMacs have two Thunderbolt 2 ports and are equipped with modules Wi-Fi 802.11 ac.

The graphics subsystem, apparently, the updates do not get it. At least Best Buy mentioned configuration includes module Radeon R9 M380, that is the same as is installed on the current generation.

The start of sales of the new iMac. But, apparently, the announcement will take place in the near future.
