Beeline made a traffic WhatsApp free [video]

“Beeline” and WhatsApp announced partnership, under which subscribers will get unlimited and free access messenger on the tariff plans of the operator.

Since October 26, customers “Beeline”, connected to the most popular tariff plan “All”, no longer have to pay for the data traffic of WhatsApp, the popular messaging service in Russia. This is the first partnership of this kind between a Telecom operator and OTT services in the Russian market. The offer will be available to clients “Beeline” until 15 January 2016.

“Beeline” has completely nullified the value of 4G/LTE tariffs, “All” and “All for business” to provide unlimited and free access to high speed mobile Internet.

Package tariff plans that include minutes and TEXT messages and Internet traffic, are gaining increasing popularity among clients “Beeline”. According to the company, the number of users of these tariff plans for the year increased by 86%, while their share in the customer base increased by 11.3%, reaching 30.5 per cent of the total number of customers. Clients Beeline can connect to the tariff “All” for free, new customers must pay the cost of connection.

According to WhatsApp, Russia, along with Brazil, Mexico and India among top 10 countries by number of users messenger. In Russia the messenger more than 30 million monthly active users.
