Because of a bug in iOS 11 users can’t type the word “it”

The iPad and iPhone users are faced with a new error auto-correction, which proposes to replace the word “it” into “I. T”. The issue only affects devices running iOS 11 and above.

Twitter users complain about annoying error, due to which difficult to gain one of the most frequently used pronouns in the English language. If you enter the word “it” in the tips QuickType displays the word “I. T”. After pressing the space bar “I. T” replaces “it”, even if the user pressed the hint.

One of MacRumors readers has shared a video where it is demonstrated that this error also occurs if you type the word “is”.

As a temporary workaround, go to “Settings” > “General” > “Keyboard” > “Replace text” and enter the word “it” as a phrase and reduction.

A similar error occurred in iOS 11.1. Then the users could not type a letter “i” because it was replaced by “a[?]”. The problem was solved updating the iOS 11.1.1.
