AvtoVAZ presented the LADA Connect technology, which will allow you to control the car’s systems with a smartphone. Presentation of the platform took place within the Moscow international motor show MIAS 2016.
As told in “AVTOVAZ”, the new system combines the car, smartphone, infotainment and navigation services into a multimedia space. Application LADA Connect allows you to check the status of the vehicle, remotely lock/unlock door locks, open the trunk, start/stop the engine, to give light and sound signals.
You can start and stop the engine on a timer or when the temperature of the environment. You can also see the current vehicle location on the map and get a notification when evacuation or external influence/impact.
System Connect LADA will provide additional safety. The owner of the LADA will be able from your smartphone to lock the engine to obtain information about the location of his car and transmit the data to the police about the theft.
The platform also provides the function of the analysis of driving style with the daily statistics for all events with the car. This tool will help to improve driving skills and to achieve fuel-efficient driving. In the future it will be possible to integrate LADA Connect with popular services of “Yandex”.
The company noted that LADA Connect uses crypto-protected channels through the mobile web. The system has the necessary protection against incorrect signals and prevents them from giving and receiving while the vehicle is in motion.
The first cars LADA Vesta and LADA XRAY system Connect is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2017. In the future, the platform will appear on other models LADA.
