Apple would pay the musicians to 0.2 cents for each listen during free period Apple Music

In addition, Apple will deduct a small amount to the publishers holding the copyright for the song.

After the demonstration period, Apple has said it is ready to pay the artists from 71,5 to 73% of the revenues from the broadcast of their compositions. For comparison, licensing agreements between Spotify and the holders of the rights to musical compositions, the service allocates 70% of revenues.

The new Apple music service Music was presented on June 9 at WWDC. Later it became known that the authorities of the States of new York and Connecticut began a preliminary investigation against Apple and a number of music companies, figuring out whether the new service is the result of collusion of companies or forced Lee majors Apple to cooperate in a criminal way.

Apple is planning to launch Apple Music with 30 June in over one hundred countries around the world. It is planned that further individual subscription will cost $ 169, family — 259 rubles.
