Apple will order OLED displays from a Chinese company BOE

Apple is going to order OLED displays have the world’s largest manufacturer of BOE screens, reports ETNews.
The first reports about the cooperation of Apple and BOE appeared in February 2017. Then the Chinese manufacturer was not willing to put OLED displays, but now the situation has changed. BOE is going to build two plants, which will be collected OLED screens only for Apple devices. According to Chinese media, the BOE also will manufacture flexible displays.

To cooperate with Apple, Chinese manufacturers would have to equip plants with special equipment, as well as pass several tests of quality control. Currently OLED screens for iPhone X does the Korean company Samsung Display.

Most likely, the BOE will not produce displays for the iPhone X. the company will supply components for future Apple devices.
