Two years later, the same fate will befall version for iOS and Android. According to a post on the website HopStop, a service will be closed in October this year.

Buy HopStop was justified by the desire of Apple to improve its mapping service. In turn, HopStop offers users an online map of more than 600 cities in the world, where there is a route on foot, by bike, in the car or on the subway. The service was founded in 2005 and supported mobile platforms iOS, Android and Windows Phone.

With the release of iOS 9 in Cupertino will refuse to maintain a separate service and for gadgets with iOS and Android. In the new mobile platform Apple offered users a function to build routes using different modes of public transport. At launch it will be available to residents of the USA (Baltimore, Maryland, Chicago, Illinois, new York, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, San Francisco, Washington), China, the UK (London), Mexico (Mexico city), Canada (Toronto).

The final version of iOS 9 will be released on September 16. The update will be available for free download on all devices supported by iOS 8.
