Apple will be allowed to delete preinstalled apps in iOS

Apple is considering the possibility of removal from iOS preinstalled apps. In an interview with Buzzfeed told Apple CEO Tim cook. It comes rarely used by user applications, such as “Promotions”, “Tips”, “Recorder” and “Compass”.

“This is a more complicated question than it seems. There are some applications that are associated with other. If they were removed, it could cause problems if you use your phone,” he said. Thus, the main application will not be lost, but some of them may get removed).

With the release of iOS 9 for iPhone and iPad will be two applications that will be installed by default and cannot be deleted from a mobile device: Find My iPhone and Find My Friends. The first is a free service, available for users of smartphones, tablets and Apple computers, which provides the ability to use an iOS device to locate your missing gadget and protect their data.

On a lost iPhone, iPad or iPod touch app “Find my iPhone” you can use the lost mode. The latter includes lock your lost device and protects it code password. With this mode you can send a message with a contact phone number right on the locked device.

Find My Friends, in turn, allows you to locate your friends and loved ones using your iPhone or iPad. Simply install the app on your device and sign in using your Apple ID account.

As stated in an interview with cook, the company wants to make users happy, and if they want to get rid of preinstalled apps, Apple will move in this direction.
