Apple Watch will be no more legacy applications

Today, November 17, Apple appealed to the developers, encouraging them to update their apps for Apple Watch. The company also said that apps made for watchOS 1 will no longer be allowed in the App Store.

Apple notes the advantages watchOS 4 to developers:

“Benefit from increased performance, new modes for navigation and audio, features altimeter, a direct connection to the Core accessories with Bluetooth etc. Also, now apps can weigh from 50 to 75 MB.”

Developers will be able to update your application until the first of April 2018:

“Please note that from April 2018, applications and updates created on watchOS 1 SDK will no longer be accepted. Updates to apps should be developed on watchOS 2 SDK or later. New applications can only be created using the watch OS 4 SDK.”

There is not any reason because of which owners of Apple Watch is still not updated with watchOS 1. With new features and refinements of the system, the smart watch with the new IN work longer, faster and better.
