Mass production of Apple Watch 2 starts in the second quarter of 2016, reports DigiTimes citing informed sources in the supply chain. The only manufacturer of novelties will be the company Quanta Computer.
Referring to knowledgeable informants, the publication writes that the start of production of the Apple Watch 2 will begin in the second quarter, and the launch of new items will be held not earlier than autumn 2016. The watchmaker will be only one company Quanta Computer, whereas previously it was assumed that Apple may attract another partner. In recent times, there was talk that they might be Foxconn.
DigiTimes notes that the forecast for the supply of “smart” clock Apple for 2016, which was made by analysts of the company in the fourth quarter of 2015, was adjusted downward. Due to the reduction plans on volumes of supplies in Cupertino decided that the second partner does not need.
