Apple was accused of plagiarism cover design for WWDC 2017

Apple borrowed the idea of the cover for the invitations to the WWDC 2017 the Spanish film festival in 2010. This fact drew the attention of the users of the social network Twitter.

Invitations to the conference of the world conference for developers, Apple has sent out the afternoon of 16 February. The cover shows a large group of people walking, top view. In exactly the same manner was made the poster of the festival de Cine M·laga, which took place in 2010.

Apparently, Apple designers were inspired by the work of the Spanish designer Joseph Mackridge. It is possible that the company agreed with the artist. But many in the Network have already accused Apple of plagiarism.

WWDC this year will be held from 5 to 9 June at the Convention center Machinery in San Jose. It is expected that Apple will unveil a new software platform iOS and macOS 11 10.13 for iPhone and Mac, as well as the updates for “smart watches and Apple TV — watchOS 4 and tvOS 11.

The conference Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) held since 1983. It is considered a key event for developers, when the company announces major developments.
