Apple updates iWork with support for Touch ID for password-protected documents

Apple has released an update for the corporate office of the iWork app Suite, designed for iOS and macOS. Release improves compatibility with updated operating systems for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and adds several new features.

In iWork consists of three applications – Keynote, Numbers and Pages. On Monday along with the release of iOS 10.3 and macOS Sierra 10.12.4 received a new version of office package iWork. Pages for Mac to version 6.1, Numbers – to version 4.1, Keynote to version 7.1; Pages, Numbers and Keynote for iOS to version 3.1.

According to the documentation, this update added new features for editing documents, in particular to change the format of text to Superscript or subscript, use the ligature, and set the background color of text, change the slide master, customize the background and also include in table current and archival information about promotions. In addition, each of the application, including versions for Mac has the ability to use the fingerprint scanner Touch ID to quickly access password-protected documents.
