In July last year Apple bought from CBS the rights to a popular TV show James Corden Carpool Karaoke (“Karaoke in the car”). Today, the company released a teaser of a new transmission Carpool Karaoke: The Series in which the stars will skate in the car and sing popular songs. Releases will be released to subscribers of Apple Music service.
Among the stars who took part in the filming of the show – James Corden, will Smith, Billy Ikner, Metallica, Alicia Keys, John legend, Ariana Grande, Seth MacFarlane, Chelsea Handler, Blake Shelton, Michael Strahan, John Cena, Shaquille O’neal and others. James Cordon isn’t the only leading company in this show, he acts as Executive producer and will appear only in one episode.
It is planned to shoot 16 episodes, which will be published once a week for several months. The editions will be broadcast to users branded streaming service of Apple. Each will involve different celebrities.
Carpool Karaoke recording, posted on YouTube, the year has seen over 850 million times. The most popular was the episode with the singer Adele – it for 6 months and looked at about 150 million times. In one of the issues the guest of the show was the U.S. President’s wife Michelle Obama.
