Apple has sent out an internal note in which he told about the availability of iPhone batteries to replace. The document was available to MacRumors from an unnamed source.
In the document that the company sent to the Apple Store and authorized service centers said that the batteries for all iPhone models now available without delay. This means that the official service centres can order batteries and not be faced with large delivery times, as it was in the beginning of 2018.
Despite the statement from Apple, some regions and service centers may continue to experience delays of components, notes MacRumors.
Previously, Apple reported that the batteries for some smartphones can be in short supply until the end of March or beginning of April. Some iPhone owners had to wait several weeks to have their smartphone had replaced the battery.
At the end of 2017, Apple announced lower prices for replacement battery for iPhone. This happened after it became known that the company is artificially limiting the performance of smartphones.
