Apple reported a record number of pre-orders for the “world’s best laptop” MacBook Pro

Vice President of worldwide product marketing Apple Phil Schiller told about the record high demand for Apple’s new MacBook Pro. According to him, the number of pre-orders for new items exceeded the pre-orders for all other models of MacBook Pro of the previous generation.

“I am proud to announce that the number of pre-orders in our online store for a new MacBook Pro was larger than on any other model notebooks, the Pro series before. That is, many as much as we love novelty,” said Schiller in an interview with reporters of The Independent.

On a question of journalists, as Apple refers to criticism of the new MacBook Pro the lack of standard connectors and high cost, a top Manager said:

“To be honest, I was a little surprised. But really, it shouldn’t. I haven’t seen any great Apple product, which would not have received the portion of criticism – and it’s great. We do risky things, and, of course, with an eye on the future, on which we always orientirueshsya. Our clients are very enthusiastic users and that’s great,” he added.

Schiller called the MacBook Pro “the best laptop in the history”, but acknowledged that perhaps at the moment he is not suitable for every user.

The new MacBook Pro were presented at the presentation of Apple in late October. The computers are equipped with a OLED touch-panel with Touch Bar fingerprint scanner, “the best screen ever on a Mac”, the top performance, ultrafast memory, and support interface Thunderbolt 3. According to Apple, the MacBook Pro has become the most advanced laptop that the company has ever created.
