Apple releases third beta of OS X El Capitan

Apple released to developers the third beta version of OS X El Capitan. Build is available for download on the official website of the company.

The release of OS X El Capitan beta 3 was held two weeks after the previous build. In the update the developers added support for new gestures for the touchpad. In mail Mail, for example, by swiping with two fingers on the touchpad you can now delete or mark emails in your Inbox. Similar gestures will appear in other OS X apps El Capitan.

Another innovation OS X 10.11 became empowering Spotlight search. He received the support of processing of search queries in natural language. For example, the program can find the photos of a particular place and time of the request, “show me photos from Cyprus” or sort mail by request “show me my unread emails”.

OS X has got the function of a management of open Windows, which is familiar to Windows users. Simply by dragging to the edge of the screen program Windows can be positioned next to each other. In Safari, you have the opportunity to commit the selected tab, they will be indicated in the left part of the toolbar.

Test version of OS X El Capitan is compatible with the following Mac models:

  • iMac (mid 2007 or newer)
  • MacBook Air (late 2008 or newer)
  • MacBook (late 2008 or early 2009 or newer)
  • Mac mini (early 2009 or newer)
  • MacBook Pro (mid/late 2007 or newer)
  • Mac Pro (early 2008 or newer)
  • Xserve (early 2009)

OS X El Capitan available on the Apple site in the presence of a developer account. Registered in the test program, users will be able to load the OS in July of this year. For normal users the final version of the update will be available after testing is complete.
