Apple released iTunes 11.2.1

After a week and a half after the release of iOS 11.2, Apple released an update which fixed bugs and improved performance.

According to the description, the update fixes an error that led to disable remote access for General users in the application “Home”. This error appeared due to patch another vulnerability that was in iOS 11.2. With its help, the stranger was able to access devices that support HomeKit. The vulnerability was fixed almost immediately after the release of iOS 11.2, but in order to overcome it, Apple had to disable remote access for General users.

After updating to iOS 11.2.1 remote access for General user will operate again, and the attackers will not be able to hack a smart home device.

The update is available for all devices that support iOS 11. To install the update, you need to open “Settings” → “General” → “software Update”.

iOS 11.2 came out on December 2. Update activated fast wireless in the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 and iPhone Plus X. Another important innovation of iOS 11.2 is the ability to transfer money to other users via iMessage, but this feature is available only to residents of the United States.
