In early June, Samsung by revenue had a maximum lead over Apple — more than 11 percentage points. For two months the situation has changed radically: all manufacturers except Samsung, have either maintained their share or increase it. So, Lenovo has increased the rate from 7.9% to 9.7%.
Apple helped by the fact that its main competitor is caught between a rock and a hard place in a price war in the mobile market, writes Kommersant. The situation worsened in June, when MTS announced the severance of relations with “Connected”. The operator failed to acquire in the retailer and then he decided with the help of dumping to catch up with visitors to its retail network, reducing the price of Samsung. It did not suit the Koreans, but Samsung continued shipment of goods in MTS, pissed off “Euroset”, “Svyaznoy”, “MegaFon” and “Beeline”. Since June, four companies refused to purchase smartphones and tablets Samsung, explaining dissatisfaction with the quality and commercial terms.
