Apple invests in Toshiba nearly $3 billion

The Investor wrote that Apple is investing in manufacturing OLED displays from LG $2.7 billion.

Such a big amount will be the prepayment for future deliveries. From 2019 they must be at least 45 thousand displays per month.

In the iPhone 8, which should appear in the fall with the iPhone 7S and 7S Plus, will set the matrix from Samsung. According to some reports Apple has already ordered between 70 and 160 million displays.

Some sources also say that Apple will develop components for displays.
