Apple has significantly upgraded voice assistant Siri, presenting the function Shortcuts.
Now users are able to create a procedure, triggered by the phrase chosen by the user. For example, the application has the opportunity to book hotel. The user can assign this action to a certain phrase. For example, “show my hotel” and Siri will launch the desired program in the menu after you hear this phrase.
This feature was created based on the application Workflow, which Apple bought last year.
Siri also learned how to better predict user actions and to perform them for various things like dinner reservations or call a close friend, whose birthday is today.
