Apple HomePod will get 1 GB of RAM

Last week Apple seeded IOS for smart speakers HomePod. Developed by Avery, Magnotti studied the firmware code and found new and interesting details.
HomePod Apple will get display with a resolution of 272 x 340. It will display the animation of Siri, and the virtual buttons to control the volume and activate a voice assistant. Earlier it became known that the screen can display data about the weather. However, the full functionality of the display is still unknown.
HomePod is running the new Apple A8 processor, the same used in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The column is equipped with 1 GB of RAM.
Last week Steve Trouton Smith reported that the firmware codenamed AudioAccessory 1.1, is based on iOS. The control column will be through a special app SpringBoard.
