Now Final Cut Pro allows professional editors to create VR content. In the program you can import, edit, send 360-degree videos, and view them through a VR-helmet HTC VIVE with SteamVR. Users can add 2D and 3D titles in the 360-degree video, apply effects, blur, glow, and many others. Special editing tools color now has built-in controls for adjusting hue, saturation, and brightness. Curves of color provide superfine pitch settings with multiple control points to achieve certain color ranges. Thanks to the update, Final Cut Pro has access to an extended range of luminance levels to create incredibly realistic images. The editors will be able to display video on HDR monitors using devices from AJA and Blackmagic with brightness levels up to 10,000 nits. New color correction tools support both HDR and SDR videos.
In addition, there is the option to import a project from iMovie, HEVC and HEIF, updated plugins sound effects from Logic Pro X and improved optical flow analysis created using Metal.
