Apple has added a list of outdated 15 – inch and 17-inch MacBook Pro 2010

Users of Apple devices can obtain service and spare parts the company or its authorized service centers within 5 years after the product is discontinued from production. Two years later, Apple discontinues support for technologically outdated and obsolete products. Apple has today added to the list of “outdated” two models of the MacBook Pro released in 2010.

Of retired products are products that were discontinued more than seven years ago. Apple does not service such products and makes no exceptions. Service representatives do not have the possibility to order spare parts of retired gadgets.

Today, Apple expanded the list of discontinued Mac products for the U.S. and Turkey, as well as obsolete products to Asia Pacific, Canada, Japan, Europe and Latin America.

The updated list includes:

  • MacBook Pro (15-inch, mid 2010)
  • MacBook Pro (17-inch, mid 2010)
  • Xserve (early 2009)

Presents gadgets partially supported in the United States and Turkey. In all Apple retail stores, as well as in Asia Pacific, Canada, Europe and Latin America working with a grocery list for US, but for them there is no difference between obsolete and out of operation. For retail Apple stores and these regions, products on the U.S. vintage list (all models) are considered obsolete.

Apple has expanded the list of legacy devices three months after he cancelled five products: iMac (21.5 – and 27-inch, late 2009), MacBook Air (mid 2009), Mac Pro (early 2009) and Time Capsule 802.11 n (second generation).
