Apple faced 23 lawsuits due to the slowdown in iPhone

Lawyers Apple have to deal with more than two dozen lawsuits filed in the address of the manufacturer of the iPhone. It is reported by MacRumors.

Since the official confirmation by Apple about the limitation of the performance of the iPhone, the company has received 23 lawsuit. The majority of complaints were filed by residents of the United States. The last two claims were registered by 4 January 2018 in the States of new York and Ohio. Apple also sued the people of France and Israel.

Basically, the plaintiffs demand from Apple for monetary damages, the free replacement of batteries and add to the iOS information explaining how battery replacement can prevent slowing of your smartphone. The company has made concessions to users and reduced the price of official replacement batteries, and also promised to add detailed information about the battery status in the next update of iOS.

At the end of December 2017, Apple admitted that slows down iPhone 6, iPhone 6s and iPhone SE and the Plus-versions, starting with iOS 10.2.1. According to the company, it is necessary to prevent a sudden shutdown of the device. The company limits the performance of only those smartphones that have the old battery.
