Apple changes MacBook Pro Retina 2012-2013 with a faulty battery on the newer models

Apple has launched a temporary program to replace the 15-inch MacBook Pro 2012-2013 with a faulty battery on the newer models. In the period up to 15 September this year, users who went to the service centre replace battery on MacBook Pro, will be able to replace to a newer version of the device.

The company explained this step of temporary absence in warehouses housings with integrated batteries for MacBook Pro Retina 2012-2013 and promised to eliminate the deficit by September.

At the same time, the Corporation offers applied to service users with two options — to wait until the parts shortage is resolved and get a new battery free of charge, either replace the faulty laptop is now on a newer model.

As a replacement Apple provides restored MacBook Pro with Retina display 2015 or 2016 release. According to messages of users who have agreed to replace the device, and sometimes can provide even the MacBook Pro 2017 model year. It is noteworthy that to ask for a replacement laptop, or get a new battery at no extra charge are all owners eligible under the program MacBook Pro, regardless of whether they have Apple Care+.
