Apple announced the launch of Russia’s branded Apple Pay service. Can use it iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch in autumn this year.
“We are confident that our customers in Russia, like Apple Pay. Because they value security and privacy as well as convenience. All this lies at the core of Apple Pay. We look forward to the moment when they will be able to easily and safely make payments using Apple Pay this fall,” said Jennifer Bailey, Vice President of Apple’s Apple Pay.
Payment service Apple Pay is poised to change the field of mobile payments. It’s very easy to set up, so users can easily make their credit card in their iTunes Store account. Apple Pay works on the iPhone, since the iPhone 5, and Apple Watch.
When you add a credit or debit card to Apple Pay, the actual card numbers are not stored on the device nor on Apple servers. Instead, it is assigned a unique account number device, encrypted and securely stored in the Secure Element on your iPhone or Apple Watch. Each transaction is authenticated through a unique one-time number that is generated by means of number account the device. It does not use the security code indicated on the back side of your card: instead, Apple Pay creates a dynamic security code to reliable check for each transaction.
To make online purchases in apps with iPhone is also as simple as touching the screen. With Touch ID you can pay for tangible goods and services, including clothes, electronic devices, products for health and beauty, tickets and more. Registration and payment can be executed with one touch, so no more need to manually fill large accounting documents or re-enter delivery information and billing information. While payment card data will not be communicated or transmitted to the online store.
This fall, Apple Pay will work on the Internet. Users will be able to make payments in Safari on your Mac or anywhere on iPhone and iPad.
