New iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus instead of the usual gray color was released in two new finishes – matte black and gloss black. The latter has received the official name “black onyx” or Jet Black.
Apple says that the new black color is made of smooth brushed aluminum, and to achieve the glossy effect shell model “black onyx” subjected to high-precision nine-the process of anodizing and polishing. The result is a deep and uniform black color that the boundary between the glass and the aluminum are virtually indistinguishable.
iPhone 7 in the color “black onyx” comes only in versions with 128 or 256 GB of flash memory, however, there is another important point that is important to know for those who look to this model.

If you are worried on this account, we recommend that you use one of the many available cases to protect your smartphone,” reads the description of the iPhone 7 in the color “black onyx”.
In other words, in order to keep the mobile in pristine shape and to avoid scratches, you will need to hide this beauty in the case.
