Search lost AirPods headphones can be a real problem for users. In iOS 10.3, released on Tuesday, Apple added a new feature which allows you to locate a lost headset.
IOS release 10.3 is on the stage and is currently available only to developers. To search for lost AirPods needed to run the mobile application “Find my iPhone”, which is designed to detect iOS devices and choose headphones from the list of gadgets. As AirPods there are no other wireless interfaces other than Bluetooth, the headset search is performed by other user devices. If “ears” are within range of Bluetooth headphones will be marked on the map.
Using the app “Find my iPhone” owner AirPods can remotely play a sound, to make it easier to find the device. On the bottom app bar, you can activate the sound for left and right earphone simultaneously or mute any speaker, if lost only one of headphones.
Before you can use Find My AirPods the developers warn that the headphones should not be in the ears, as it can stun the user.
