Another reason to wait for iOS 11

Great Apple advertised at WWDC iOS 11, speaking about the many important innovations of the operating system. But one fact that was omitted in Cupertino – the new OS takes up less space in the memory of the iPhone and iPad than iOS 10.

Of course, Apple, like any other company, with each update of the operating system tries to add new features to attract users. Usually an overabundance of functionality leads to the fact that the platform takes up a lot of space on the device. iOS 11 proves the opposite.

A direct comparison for the 16-Gigabyte iPhone 6s shows that iOS 10 user remains 12,01 GB and with iOS 11 – 12,78 GB.

Instead of allocating the “OSes” more memory, Apple is trying to save some space, with the result that the user gets extra storage space.

Of course, we are not talking about gigabytes of free memory, but even 700 MB for users with a 16-gig iPhone can become critical.
