All three new iPhone in 2018 will get OLED displays

In the fall of 2018 Apple will release three new iPhone models, reports the publication Nikkei, citing sources in the industry. All three devices reportedly will be equipped with displays for organic light emitting diode.

Currently, Apple uses OLED panels in the “smart” Apple Watch and iPhone the company relies on technology LCD. According to Japanese industry publication, in Cupertino intend to transfer all the iPhone the OLED display in the next year.

Insiders claim that Apple has already begun development of the next generation iPhone. Thus it is suggested that companies will not be able to produce enough OLED screens to meet the demand kupertinovtsy, if they want to install the screens on all three smartphones simultaneously.

In September 2017 will release the iPhone 8, which was the first mobile series Apple will get OLED-display. The sources emphasize that this year, OLED displays will be used by Apple only one premium device. Two other versions will be equipped with LCD panels. Earlier this week it was reported that Apple is negotiating with LG to Fund the construction of additional production lines of OLED displays. Thanks to the agreement the American computer electronics giant will be able to get enough components for the “very competitive prices”.
