AliExpress has stopped the delivery of goods to the Crimea

The largest Chinese Internet store AliExpress, part of Alibaba Group, stopped servicing clients in the Crimea. About it reports local resource FlashCrimea citing a company statement.

“Currently the delivery of goods to the Crimea stopped”, — stated in AliExpress. This decision is explained by the refusal of courier companies to deliver the goods to the Peninsula.

“We regret to inform that now the buyers of the Crimea can still place orders through AliExpress, reported in tech support. – For some reason the logistics company could not deliver Your order to your region. We try to find a way to solve the problem, and if it is found, we will notify You on your email”.

In AliExpress added that already paid and shipped the goods are delivered. “If you have already paid, your order has been shipped, you can receive the goods”, specified in the online store.

AliExpress has opened an office in Russia in June this year. In the month on the online store, which unites tens of thousands of large and small sellers, we had 18-19 million visits from Russia, and our country became the second largest buyer.

At the end of September it became known that AliExpress refuses to serve the residents of Crimea and Sevastopol. When ordering on the website of the online store in the list of Russian regions were absent from the Republic of Crimea and the Federal city of Sevastopol. Thus, the inhabitants of the Peninsula could not make an order for his address.

In late 2014 the US imposed sanctions against the Crimea, which prohibit American companies from working on the Peninsula. From the service of the Crimea refused by such corporations as Google, Apple, HP, Dell, GoDaddy Group, Valve Corporation, the online store Amazon, and PayPal, Visa and MasterCard.
