KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has once again shared information about the new smartphone Apple. This time he spoke about the possible emergence of a dual SIM iPhone.
According to him, the company will release two models of the 6.1-inch smartphone. One of which, in fact, receive the support of two SIM-cards. Its price will vary in the range of 650-750 dollars.
“iPhone with a 6.1-inch LCD screen with support for two SIM-cards in the standby mode can significantly affect the delivery of units this year. This separation of models will expand the price range and attract a lot of users from China, where dual-SIM devices are in demand,” added Kuo.
Also, the analyst believes that the most expensive iPhone model with a 6.5-inch OLED display will also receive the support of two SIM-cards, but the base model with a screen diagonal of 5.8 inches – no.
Kuo noted that the decision about the appearance of this model of iPhone was made recently, so the timing of its production was postponed for a few weeks. Maybe on sale it will also appear later than others. The smartphones will be used Intel chips, and Qualcomm, which will support active multiple SIM cards.
