To solve real business problems IT corporations are going to attract 1500 Moscow schoolchildren, reports Mskagency with reference to the press service of the Department of information technology (DIT) of Moscow. The project will involve Apple, Microsoft, Samsung and other companies.
“In the framework of the project “new technologies” opened team registration for participation in the competition of applied research “School of real cases”. IT company will be offered to students grades 7 through 10 solve real cases from their field tasks tackled by the professionals. Your ideas will be able to submit 1500 schoolchildren. They will take the role of engineers, programmers, marketers and other specialists,” – said in the message.
To apply for participation in the project can any teacher of the Moscow school before August 1, 2015 on the website of the “School of new technologies”. One educational organization may submit a maximum of 50 students. This year their objectives students will offer more than 20 companies, including Apple, Samsung, Microsoft and Kaspersky Lab. Project fair will take place on 15th October 2015 at the faculty of Economics of Moscow state University, where every team, announced its participation in the “School of real cases”, will be able to choose a case over which it will have to work.
To better understand how to cope with the task, all participants will visit the offices of IT companies. The teams will have to go through several stages: during the qualifying round, in winter, the employers will assess the development of students and will select finalists who will present their solutions are already at the final conference of the project.
In the last academic year in the School of real cases” was attended by about 800 students, representing more than 200 teams. In the finale one of the best was recognized as the solution of the problem from Apple and Polymedia — created a “smart button” iClick. It allows you to remotely control the mobile phone and electronic devices in the house.
